Class A sound absorption

FONO desk screens feature Class A sound absorption, ensuring the highest level of acoustic performance. They effectively reduce noise between workstations and help create a calmer, more focused working environment.

Certified acoustic performance

These acoustic desk screens are certified according to the ISO 20189 standard, which defines the performance of acoustic products in the workplace. They use Class A sound-absorbing stone wool, known for its excellent noise reduction properties and outstanding fire resistance. Thanks to these characteristics, FONO desk screens provide excellent acoustic comfort while contributing to a more sustainable and pleasant working environment.

Desk screen composition

FONO screens are made from carefully selected sustainable materials designed to minimise environmental impact. The frame, made from FSC-certified wood, ensures structural stability. The inner layer consists of Class A stone wool, providing excellent sound absorption, while the surface is covered with felt made from 75% recycled fibres and a selected removable fabric that can be replaced as needed.

Sustainable end-of-life design

No adhesives are used in the manufacturing of FONO, allowing each component – the wooden frame, stone wool, felt, and fabric – to be easily separated and sorted by material type. When sustainable fabrics are chosen, these can also be recycled. This approach reduces environmental impact and ensures a responsible end-of-life process for the product.
